    Solar Hot Water Systems

    • Using only the sun's energy the Microsolar range of solar water heaters are the only ones to ever achieve 100 degrees Celsius, starting off from cold, in one day.
    • They are the only solar water heaters, to operate without freezing in temperatures well below -30 degrees Celsius.
This outstanding performance speaks for itself. No other Solar Hot Water heater can match these feats, which means that you have more hot water available than ever before. Even under adverse lighting conditions a Microsolar solar water heater is still working, which saves more power than any other Solar Water Heater.

The Microsolar solar water heater comprises an array of 20 vacuum tubes of borosilicate glass feeding a grade 304 stainless steel tank cased in mirror finished 316 nickel-chrome stainless steel. The solar water tank is insulated with 50mm high density polyurethane foam.
A parabolic reflector is positioned beneath the solar collector tubes to reflect rays and make optimum use of the available sunlight. This is manufactured from mirror finished 316 nickel-chrome stainless steel.
Each vacuum tube is splutter coated with a black selective absorber and fitted with a coaxial tube. This bi-valve arrangement prevents stagnation at the lower end of the tube by delivering cold water directly to the bottom of the tube.

The solar tank is fitted with a copper heat exchanger. Water is fed through this coil and delivered to an existing hot water cylinder or directly to outlets.

    • When fed to existing outlets, backup heating is achieved using an Eemax instantaneous electric water heater or a gas califont system.
    • When fed into a remote standard hot water cylinder a solar circulator pump and controller are required.
