On-Demand Heating Considerations At A Glance
    • Water crystalises at about 4°C so don't use an on-demand appliance if the incoming cold water temperature is likely to fall below 5°C
    • For safety, do not set a temperature rise such the the outlet temperature can exceed the legal specification for showers - 45°C
    • If using in conjunction with a solar hot water system, a TP valve on the inlet side is mandatory.
    • It is best to measure the actual flow rates at each hot water outlet connected to a system.
Before placing an order please pay attention to the following:
    1. Ensure that the appliance you are ordering is compatible with your supply voltage.
    2. Before ordering, ensure that your power supply is able to handle the load expected.
    3. If you are in doubt about anything, consult your electrician and or plumber.
Groundwater temperature in °C for various NZ locations.
This will not necessarily be accurate for you but gives some idea of the temperature to expect. Deduct 1/2 to 1 degree from the location nearest you and use it as your base temperature.
Alternatively you may be able to get more accurate local information from your water services provider.
    Calculate your rise in temperature.
    1. Select a weather station near you from the panel above and deduct between 1/2 and 1 degree to estimate your base temperature.
    2. Enter the base temperature and the temperature you expect from the system
    3. Press Calculate
